Case Study - Barry Clark
A young and extremely quick driver, Barry approached The Inside Line in 2004 to try and advance his fledgling career in rallying. Now, with three international titles to his name in the last three years, Barry Clark is Scotland’s next major motorsport hero in the making.
In 2008 Barry (25), from Ellon near Aberdeen, will be the one of only two Britons – and the first Scotsman since the late Colin McRae - to compete under manufacturer team status in the World Rally Championship. He will take on at least three WRC rounds as part of the Munchi’s Ford World Rally Team, in the manufacturer championship-winning Ford Focus prepared by M-Sport.
