BEING Britain’s leading WRC driver certainly put Matthew Wilson in the limelight this week in the lead-up to his home event, Wales Rally GB, the final round in this season’s FIA World Rally Championship.
For in addition to countless newspaper and magazine interviews, the young Cumbrian driver found himself a star of TV and radio, appearing on ITV’s ‘Daybreak’ with sports presenter Dan Lobb and BBC Radio2’s ‘Drive Time’ show with Simon Mayo.
