Global PR coverage for M-Sport and Ford Fiesta S2000

Leading rally car manufacturer M-Sport has enjoyed global PR coverage over the past week thanks to this video produced by The Inside Line.

The teaser video was released as part of the marketing and PR campaign for the official launch of the new Ford Fiesta S2000 rally car built by M-Sport.

On Wednesday November 18 the spectacular new rally car, which will be eligible to compete in the WRC World Cup and IRC series in 2010, will be revealed to a gathering of international journalists at Dovenby Hall, M-Sport’s state-of-the-art headquarters in Cumbria.

Within the last five days the viral video has been watched by almost 30,000 viewers from across the globe on YouTube.com after being distributed via social media channels including Facebook and Twitter.

It was the third most watched sport video and the 27th most watched in all categories in the UK last week.

It also topped the charts in the Czech Republic, becoming the number one most watched video across all categories.

The video also received thousands of hits in Ireland, Italy, Poland, Germany, New Zealand, France, Netherlands and Australia.

The next stage of marketing and PR campaign will see an official video of the car in full livery released on launch day, featuring an exclusive interview with former British rally champion and M-Sport managing director Malcolm Wilson.
