The MSA British Rally Elite is an innovative national motorsport training scheme endorsed by the MSA for the top young drivers and co-drivers in the UK. The aim is to train them into the best possible package for World Rally Championship teams and aid their transition from British Rallying into the World Rally Championship.

The Richard Burns Foundation was launched in June 2006 at the prestigious Goodwood Festival of Speed. Set up in the name of the former World Champion, who lost his brave fight against Brain Cancer in November 2005 aged 34, the Foundation strives to “inspire and support people with serious injury and illness.”

The distinctive livery of Eddie Stobart Motorsport was first seen on the World Rally Championship in 2005, and by 2006 was contesting a full campaign in the WRC with a two-car Manufacturer 2 squad under the Stobart VK M-Sport Ford Rally Team moniker. The team has now fielded some of the world’s strongest rally drivers under its banner including Brit Matthew Wilson, Italian Gigi Galli, Finn Jari-Matti Latvala and Norwegian Henning Solberg.
